Junior DevOps Engineer
BUDAPEST /ENGINEERING – DEVELOPMENT / INTERNSHIP
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to become part of an enthusiastic team of software engineers and software testers delivering a VoIP based mission critical telecommunication solution to enterprise customers from all around the world. You, as a DevOps engineer, will work with developers and the IT staff to support the development teams, oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From operating our lab network and various systems to analyzing data to improve our toolchains and processes, the DevOps Team increases productivity in the workplace.

Feladatok
• Collaborate with a team of developers to support their everyday work.
• Configure and manage our lab infrastructure.
• Operate our various systems supporting the development.
• Test our internal tools and network configuration
• Translate technical requirements into code.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs in the system and develop solutions.
• Keeping contact with internal stakeholders
• Participation on online and onsite meetings

Elvárások
What you'll bring:
• Active study in Programming, Engineering or Computer Science
• A mindset of solving hard problems efficiently with creativity
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking. Cisco switches, network, and firewall configurations are a plus.
• Programming experience in any script language (perl, python, bash, windows batch)
• Open minded for cloud technologies , Application virtualization, containerization Docker, Podman
• Knowledge of both Linux and Windows OS
• Understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, SVN)
• Knowledge of CI/CD paradigm (knowledge of tools - e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Gerrit, etc is a plus)
• Experience with VMware is a plus.

• English language
